When we studied the short cut aluminum silicate ceramic fiberboard, we analyzed the micro morphology of the fracture after the bending fracture of the reinforced silica sol shell. There were few fibers distributed on the fracture surface of the aluminum silicate fiberboard. At this time, the reinforcement effect on the matrix was not obvious, only 0.28mpa and 0.45MPa, an increase of about 12% ~ 19%. With the increase of fiber addition to 0.6% and 0.8%, the number of fibers on the fracture surface of aluminum silicate fiber gradually increases, and they are evenly distributed in the mold shell, indicating that the fiber has good dispersion in the coating preparation process, so the number of fibers participating in the reinforcement increases, which shows the improvement of the overall reinforcement.
At this time, the diameter of the fibers on the fracture surface can be observed to decrease, which is caused by the elastic deformation in the process of fiber fracture and debonding. Continue to increase the amount of fiber, and the residue of shell can be observed from the fiber on the fracture surface of aluminum silicate fiber, which shows that the aluminum silicate fiber effectively bears the load in the debonding process, which shows that the results of the experimental analysis are helpful to enhance the bending performance of aluminum silicate fiber board.
